2017 Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program Payment Adjustment Fact Sheet for EPs

CMS has developed a Fact Sheet for Eligible Professionals designed to answer questions and concerns about 2017 Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program Payment Adjustments. Access the Fact Sheet here.
Visit the CMS Website for New Attestation Resources

The EHR Incentive Programs attestation system will be open from Jan. 3 - Feb. 28, 2017. Providers must attest by the attestation deadline to avoid a 2018 payment adjustment.
To help providers prepare for the 2016 EHR Incentive Programs attestation period, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released two attestation worksheets for eligible professionals and eligible hospitals and critical access hospitals.  Providers can log their meaningful use measures for each objective in the worksheet and use it as a reference when attesting for the 2016 Medicare EHR Incentive Program in CMS' Registration and Attestation System.

For more information, CMS encourages providers to visit the CMS 2016 Program Requirements webpage on the CMS website to access the worksheets and review additional resources for 2016 EHR Incentive Program participation.

Online Tool for Quality Payment Program

In 2017, CMS will apply a downward payment adjustment to those who did not satisfactorily report for the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) in 2015 including: Individual eligible professionals; Comprehensive Primary Care practice sites; PQRS group practices; and Accountable Care Organizations.
2015 PQRS feedback reports are available:
