ILHITREC's E-Mail System Running Again After Malfunction
Due to technical problems, ILHITREC's email info@ILHITREC.org malfunctioned last week, preventing us from receiving your e-mails. If you did not receive a response to your inquiry from an ILHITREC representative within 24 hours, please re-send it to info@ILHITREC.org. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Log-in to IMPACT now to avoid MU attestation problems
ILHITREC encourages Providers to log-in to the IMPACT system now to make sure you can access the Electronic Health Record Medicaid Incentive Payment Program (eMIPP) in advance of the April 30, 2017 deadline set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This will allow you time to resolve any possible problems.
Providers can review the eMIPP Attestation Guide for step-by-step screenshots to assist you in the process. It takes 5 minutes per provider. Doing so allows Providers to:
  • Confirm the person responsible for attestation can log-in to IMPACT (pg. 1-2)
  • Confirm in IMPACT that the person attesting has access to each provider's domain with administrator profile (pg. 3-4)
  • Have each provider's CMS ID ready
  • Confirm that information on the Federal Information section of eMIPP is up to date (pg. 5-10)
If you need assistance from ILHITREC, please contact us at  info@ILHITREC.org.

Illinois Medicaid Attestation Deadline is April 30, 2017

The deadline for Providers to attest in the Illinois Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program for the 2016 program year has been extended to April 30, 2017.

The extension is for eligible providers who have recently registered or previously registered for the program at the CMS website by the March 13, 2017 registration deadline for the Medicare/Medicaid EHR Incentive programs. All providers who have registered but not yet attested in the program must attest by April 30, 2017 to remain in the program and earn incentives.
If you need assistance with attestations or deadlines, contact info@ILHITREC.org. For the full announcement: https://www.illinois.gov/hfs/MedicalProviders/notices/Pages/prn170302a.aspx
