Springfield, IL - To kick off National Rural Health
Day, the Illinois Rural Health Association wants to draw attention to the
critical shortage of healthcare providers and billing specialists in rural
areas and is offering free 12 month memberships to college and graduate
students interested in healthcare, public health and medical billing and coding
professions, who join by December 16th.

stay abreast of the latest rural health news and be invited to our webinars,
regional educational and legislative forums as well as our Annual Educational
Conference which is being held August 9-10th in Champaign, Illinois.
First organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health
Association (IRHA) is a collaborative association of medical schools,
hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, health departments, practitioners, students
and public officials, whose mission is to strengthen health systems for rural
residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking, leadership,
and scholarships.
